The first step in improving your protection against cyberthreats is to understand exactly what it is that you need to protect. You MUST consider the data you have, from whom you must protect it, and how sensitive it is to you.

Don't be like Achilles.

The legendary Greek hero Achilles demonstrated that if you suffer from a vulnerability, attackers may eventually exploit your weakness.

Understand the various areas in which your current cybersecurity posture may be less than ideal so that you can figure out how to address any relevant issues. You should, for example, inventory all the items that could contain sensitive data.
